Tom Nixon - President - Tom Nixon has been a singing member of SVGMC since 1999 and a board member since 2004. Tom joined the chorus after moving to Santa Clara from Fresno in 1998 to meet friends and get involved in the community. Tom has a musical background with piano lessons as a kid and clarinet in elementary through college performing in marching bands and wind ensembles. In 2004, Tom joined the board of SVGMC to help obtain 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Status for the chorus. Later, Tom has served as Vice-President and most recently President of the Board since 2007. SVGMC has been a wonderful experience for Tom wherein he has made friendships and connections into the GLBTQ community. Tom sees SVGMC as a vital element in the South Bay offering a fellowship for gay men wherein we truly can inspire our diverse community through musical excellence. When not singing on a Tuesday night or attending a board meeting, Tom is a Realtor with Intero Real Estate Services and enjoys helping people buy or sell homes.

Jerry Enos - Vice President

Don Jolly - Secretary - Don Jolly comes from a musical family and has a life long involvement in music, starting piano lessons at age five and serving many years as a church organist. He has a MA in special education and retired as a special education administrator after a career of 30 years. Don served on the board of a social service agency in Sunnyvale for twelve years and continues to support the arts. He has volunteered for SVGMC for over ten years in support of his partner, a member of the chorus. This is his fourth year as a non-singing member of the Board of Directors. Don sees SVGMC as a positive influence within the community, providing inspiration, fellowship, musical excellence and positive role models for the south bay community.

Richard Hall - Treasurer - I have been affiliated with SVGMC since 1995. My partner and legal husband Steve Narvasa has been singing with the since before we meet in 1995. I have been active with every concert. I spent years in the lobby of each concert selling tickets or ushering. I say I am the number one fan of SVGMC. I co-own and operate the San Jose My Gym Children�s Fitness Center on Bascom. This is my third year on the Board and my first year being Treasurer. I basically issue and sign the monthly checks and pull the reports from Quick Books for our Board Meetings. Don and Kathy do most of the entries in Quick Books.It is my true pleasure to be of service to SVGMC. I love to hear them sing. Each and every concert is a joy. I am glad you too support our Silicon Valley Gay Men�s Chorus.

David Lang - At Large

Bob McIntosh - At Large - Bob McIntosh has been a member of SVGMC since 2006 and a board member since 2009. Originally from Pennsylvania, he bounced from coast to coast for a while before finally settling in California in 1992. He is a veteran of choruses on both coasts, and SVGMC is his first experience with a gay men's group. He and partner Tom Robles failed to take advantage of the opportunity to marry when it was legal and so are still living in sin, with their 3 cats.

Stephen Crocker - At Large - Stephen Crocker has been a member of SVGMC since 1997, enjoying both the musical accomplishments and camaraderie of participating in a gay chorus. Previous to his current board membership, he was an at-large board member for 2 years and Vice President for an additional 4 years. Currently, Stephen also serves as Retreat coordinator (5 years), and is the survey designer and analyst. Stephen holds a Ph. D. in Political Science (research social science) from UC Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University. Recently retired, he worked as a lottery game design consultant to 37 of the 43 state lotteries. Prior to that, Stephen was employed as a market research specialist at Stanford Research Institute, and as a Project Director at the Rand Corporation. He also has performed in several community musical theatre productions.

Dan England- At Large - Director of Marketing and Baritone Section Leader
Dan England has been a singer with SVGMC since 1999 and considers the chorus his extended family away from his biological one in Ohio. He has formerly served on the board of directors as an At Large board member in 2000 and ran marketing until 2002. He took a break in 2003 and returned to the board again as an At Large member again in 2004. He became President of the Board of Directors from 2005 - 2007. He retired from the board in 2008 and in 2009 was hired again to run Marketing for the chorus. He came back again to be an At Large member of the board in 2010. All in all he's served with 3 chorus directors and 5 board presidents. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a BS in business and is partnered with Rick Padre and has a 16 year old daughter Jennifer.
