Holiday Magic

December 20-22, 2002, Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts

For our December 2002 production we were pleased to premiere Orphie in the Underworld, a new operetta in one act. Based on the works of Offenbach, with some surprising twists, it was, beautifully arranged by SVGMC member Sherwood Dudley.

In Act 2 of our show, we donned our gay apparel and brought out the holiday cheer. Act 2 included a mostly light-hearted collection of holiday songs, plus a few surprises. We honored the spirit of Hanukkah with the hauntingly beautiful Over the Skies of Yisrael, by Robert Seeley and Robert Espindola.
