Corey Liggans Miller

Artistic Director

Corey joined SVGMC as a singing member in 2017 and became the chorus’ first assistant director for its 36th season in 2018. He is the choir director at RJ Fisher Middle School in Los Gatos and was formerly the choir director at Castillero Middle School in San Jose. Corey earned his BA in Music from California State University, Fresno, and his MA in Music from San Jose State University.

Dan Fister

Assistant Director

Joining SVGMC as a singing member in 2023, Dan brings significant experience in directing and adjudicating scholastic a cappella groups. He earned his BA in Music from Chapman University and his PhD in Musicology from Washington University in St. Louis. Dan works as an adjunct professor of music at various Bay Area colleges.

Wilson Alexander Aguilar

Marketing Director

For 25 years, Wilson has been a marketing, fundraising, and events professional. Before moving to California, he lived in New York where he managed events at amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, and created communications strategies and events at various nonprofits. He is the recipient of the 2018 Bass Clef Award and the 2021 Don Jolly Award—both honors recognizing his leadership and contributions of time, energy, and resources that have ensured SVGMC continues to thrive. Wilson received a B.A. in Theater from UIC Chicago.
